COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The Federation of Asian Indian Associations hosted the 2024 India Festival at the Celeste Center on Saturday.
Through food and musical performances, attendees experienced Indian culture and heritage and celebrated India’s Independence Day.
The event’s goal is to spread awareness about India’s culture here in Central Ohio, and people in attendance were excited to share.
“It’s a celebration of India,” one attendee told ABC 6. “All states people from all states and regions are here to celebrate and showcase our country.”
The event runs until 9 p.m. on Saturday.
